The 1953 Formula One World Championship is the fourth season of the series and continues the dominance of Ferrari in the sport. The season consist of nine races, and once again, the 2.0-liter F2 regulations were in place. Ferrari’s Alberto Ascari is the standout driver of the season, but the competition is tougher, with several teams and drivers making a strong challenge. Ascari’s performance is stellar, and he continues his impressive run from 1952, winning four races, including the prestigious French Grand Prix at Reims.
